1. Reconciliation Health Score Card Is Now Clickable, With Drill-Down to Every Unreconciled Item
Every score on your Cash Reconciliation dashboard now traces to the cent — click any number to see exactly what's driving it.
Reconciliation Health is the scorecard on your Cash Reconciliation dashboard. For any date range and currency, it shows at a glance how much of your order-to-cash flow has actually reconciled, broken into four scored checkpoints plus a revenue view.
Each score is now clickable — open the exact list of unreconciled items behind any number, filtered to the same dates and currency, so every score traces to the cent.
How the overall score works
Your overall score is the unweighted average of the four scored checkpoints, scoped to orders placed in the selected date range. It's color-coded so you know where to focus:
97–100 Healthy: Reconciliation is operating as expected with minimal exceptions.
90–96.99 Watch: A moderate number of exceptions exist. No action needed, but worth monitoring.
75–89.99 Investigate: A meaningful volume of unreconciled items has built up. Review and resolution recommended.
Below 75 Critical: Reconciliation has broken down significantly. Immediate investigation required.
Blue (Early Assessment): It's too early to assess and the date range falls in an open period.
The four scored checkpoints
The four scored checkpoints follow your money one step further down the order-to-cash journey, each scored as a simple percentage (reconciled ÷ total):
Order → Payment: Do orders placed in the period have a matching payment?
Payment → Bank: Have those orders' sale payments settled into the bank?
Order → Bank: Has every payment on an order cleared to the bank? (All-or-nothing — one unmatched payment fails the whole order.)
Refunds Reconciliation: Do refunds processed in the period match back to a payment?
Revenue Recognized (informational only)
A fifth tile, Revenue Recognized, is informational only and is excluded from your overall score. It shows how much revenue from orders placed in the period was actually fulfilled within that period. This tile does not provide a drill-down experience at the moment.
Cash Expected and new filters on the Payments and Orders pages
Each scored tile shows Cash Expected — the cash expected to settle to your bank, not gross order value — along with a mismatch count, with refunds shown as negative amounts.
To support this, the Payments and Orders pages now include:
A "Payout Reconciliation Status" filter
A Cash Expected total
Any page can now reproduce a tile exactly, so drill-downs and independent investigation always agree.
Open vs. closed periods
If your selected date range falls entirely within a closed period, you'll see full scores and a health status.
If the range includes dates in an open period, scoring is marked Early Assessment — it's too early to fully assess, since payouts and settlements for those dates may still be in progress.
What this means for you
Every score is now investigable — click through to the exact unreconciled items driving the number
Color-coded prioritization tells you when to act and when to just monitor
Drill-downs and independent investigation always agree because the Payments and Orders pages can now reproduce any tile exactly
2. Corrected Deferred Revenue Timing for In-Store Exchanges of Online Orders
Exchanges that cross accounting periods no longer create a mismatched Unknown balance — journal entries reconcile cleanly across both periods.
What was happening
When a customer placed an order online and later exchanged items for it in-store in a different accounting period, the exchange added new line items to the original order. Deferred revenue for those added items was being recorded against the original order date rather than the date of the exchange.
This overstated deferred revenue in the original period and created an offsetting balance in the Unknown account that reversed in the exchange period, so period totals didn't tie out and the entries couldn't be pushed cleanly to your accounting system.
What's fixed
Deferred revenue is now dated to when each line item actually joined the order:
Items from the original online order are recognized in the period the order was placed
Items added through an in-store exchange are recognized in the period the exchange occurred
This eliminates the Unknown balance created by this timing mismatch and produces journal entries that reconcile correctly across both periods and post to your accounting system without manual correction.
⚠️ Note: this applies to anything dated 06/01/2026 onward. Historical data prior to that date was not affected.
What this means for you
Clean cross-period reconciliation for in-store exchanges of online orders going forward
No more Unknown balance caused by this specific timing mismatch
Journal entries post cleanly to your accounting system without manual correction
3. Edited Orders Now Reconcile Across All Versions
Edited orders no longer strand balances in Unknown — the payment side and the line-item side now meet and offset each other.
What was happening
When a customer changes an order after placing it — swapping a product, changing quantity, or editing line items — the store creates a new version of the order while the original payment stays attached to the earlier version.
Previously, our system treated each version as a separate order, so the payment side and the line-item side never met to offset each other. The result was amounts left sitting in the Unknown clearing account that should have netted to zero, and an order page that showed only one version at a time.
What you'll notice
The order page now shows every version of an edited order together, each with its own reconciliation status — instead of asking you to pick a single version before you can see anything.
The journal entry timeline now combines entries across all versions of the order and lays them out by date, so the offsetting legs that used to strand in Unknown now cancel and clear.
Edited orders reconcile as a single business event across their versions, both on the order page and in the entries pushed to your accounting system.
⚠️ What to expect on your books: Because this clears a backlog of previously stuck items, you'll see today-dated adjustment entries that retroactively resolve affected orders. For most orders these entries are equal-and-opposite and net to roughly zero dollars — they clear the Unknown balance rather than move real money. Prior-period books already closed at past checkpoints are not restated; only your current balances recompute.
Why it matters
Edited orders were the single largest source of stuck balances in the Unknown clearing account. Clearing them means the Unknown account reflects items that genuinely need attention rather than accounting artifacts from routine order edits.
What this means for you
A cleaner Unknown account — remaining balances actually need investigation instead of being routine order-edit noise
All versions of an edited order in one place on the order page and in the JE timeline
Journal entries push cleanly to your accounting system for edited orders, with no manual reconciliation needed
4. Connectors Experience: A Cleaner, More Connected View of Your Integrations
Five small improvements to help you navigate and manage your integrations more easily.
See when each source last synced
Every integration in your Connectors view now shows its last sync time — the point at which the most recent successful sync with that source completed. It's an at-a-glance way to confirm your data is current and spot anything that may be lagging behind.
Jump straight to the details you need
Each section header in your Connectors view — Payments, Orders, Ledger, and Banks — now links directly to the detailed integration page for that source. One click takes you from the overview to exactly where you can review and manage those connections.
Tidy up expired connections
You can now archive an integration that's expired or disconnected, hiding it from your main Connectors view without deleting it. Archived integrations are grouped together separately, so your active connections stay front and center while nothing is lost.
Automatic cleanup for inactive integrations
To keep things tidy over time, integrations that have been expired, disconnected, or never connected — with no action taken for 180 days — are now archived automatically. You can always find them in your archived group if you need them again.
Clearer bank account identification
Bank integrations now surface their associated account details, making it easy to tell multiple connections apart and know exactly which account each one covers.
What this means for you
Faster navigation to the connection you actually need
A tidier main view — expired and inactive connections no longer clutter your active list
Confidence in data freshness from the visible last-sync time on every source
