Amazon — Orders Available Up to 2 Years
When connecting Amazon Seller as an order system, our platform automatically imports the last 90 days of order data. If you need to sync data older than that, you’ll need to manually unarchive reports in Amazon before we can retrieve them.
According to Amazon’s developer documentation, order reports only support orders less than two years old: Amazon SP-API Report Type Values — Orders
Amazon also confirms that orders older than two years are automatically archived in North America and EU marketplaces: Orders Older Than Two Years Will Be Automatically Archived (Amazon SP-API Changelog)
What this means for Blue Onion users:
If you want to include order data older than 90 days in your Blue Onion dashboard, you’ll need to unarchive those orders in Amazon Seller Central first.
Once unarchived, we can include them in your data sync and analysis.
Shopify — Orders Available Indefinitely
Shopify does not set a limit on how far back you can access or export order data. Merchants can export their full order history from the admin dashboard or via the Shopify API.
Shopify’s help documentation on order exports:
Exporting Orders — Shopify Help CenterWhile there’s no official cutoff date in the documentation, Shopify Support confirms (via chat) that sellers can export orders “as far back as needed,” provided those records still exist in the store’s database.
What this means for Blue Onion users:
Shopify allows long-term access to your full order history. There’s no need for reactivation or unarchiving steps—simply connect your store, and Blue Onion can pull as much historical data as you authorize.
Recharge — Processed Data Available for Up to 1 Year
Recharge provides access to historical subscription and order data through its Export Builder and API. However, certain processed data exports are limited to 90 days.
What this means for Blue Onion users:
When connecting Recharge, we can typically access up to 90 days of historical order and subscription data. For older subscription activity, you may need to reach out to Recharge Support or maintain your own export records.
