Using Blue Onion AI with Unit Economics

Blue Onion AI can answer questions about your Unit Economics data in plain language, so you don't have to filter and sort pages yourself. It reads from Business Intelligence, COGS Rates, Line Item Intelligence, Refund Intelligence and Inventory Mapping.

If Blue Onion AI is enabled for your account, you can ask it from three places:

  1. The Ask me anything box at the top of Home.

  2. The AI side panel, available from any page.

  3. Blue Onion AI in the left menu, where you can start a New Chat or open Chat History.

Questions to try

  • "Which 10 SKUs had the lowest CM1 % last month?"

  • "Compare CM1 % across my order systems for the last quarter."

  • "How much did discounts reduce my margin in September?"

  • "Which products have the highest refund rate by count this year?"

  • "Which SKUs are missing a product cost?"

  • "Are there any new SKUs I need to map?"

For example, ask about your unmapped SKUs and Blue Onion AI tells you how many there are, which channel most of them come from, and how they affect your journal entries.

Blue Onion AI only reads your data. It never edits costs, mappings or anything else in your account.
